Given the fact that handmade rugs are a product of desert like environment, more often than not, they typically employ primary colors to absorb the harsh sunlight. So, it is rather rare to come across rugs with soft tones or predominant beige and light color background such as this royal Kashan. This is an exceptionally intricate and exquisite piece with its beautiful shah-Abbasi flowers is masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, and it has about 160 knots per square inch.
