Highly Intricate Ornate Super Fine Part Silk Nain-Isfahan Rug. 100% natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, pure silk, finest baby lambs wool pile on cotton foundation. Nain-Isfahan's are known to be among the finest Persian Rugs. This is simply a lovely Nain-Isfahan floral design on a navy color background. Please notice the sophisticated design of the radiating sunburst central medallion. The glowing silk high lights give this piece a glowing and a three dimensional character. The baby lambs wool pile is of superior quality and it feels like velvet to the touch. What is intriguing, is when, one is reminded of the fact, that Nain, a small oasis town in the middle of the desert north of Isfahan, is the birthplace of such a Rug with dazzling beauty.
