Sikandar Shah, Silver Rupee, 10.50g, Lahore Mint, AH 962, Obv: “Sultan sikandar shah isma’il sur”, Rev: Shahada, the letter “Hi” occur both above allah in the Shahada (G&G# D1150). Very fine+, extremely rare.
Sikandar Shah coins are very rare. Most of the known Rupees are of Lahore Mint however couple of Agra Rupees also known. These are the only Silver Rupees of Suri dynasty where the family name “Sur” was written.
