Sugg copper station lamp with enamel shade; operating lever; chains; 4 burners and glass globe. Polished. Attached is a LNER 'horseshoe' enamel Lamp Tablet lettered black on white on both sides "BARNSLEY". Good condition. Note Barnsley Exchange station opened as "Barnsley" in 1850; was renamed "Barnsley Low Town" then almost immediately "Barnsley Exchange" in 1924; "Barnsley" again in 1960.
