Suds (United Artists, 1920). Title Card and Lobby Cards (6) (11" X 14"). If you didn't know better you'd think Mary Pickford asked Lon Chaney, Sr. to put on a wig and be her stand-in on this title card. In this London based comedy, Pickford (Amanda) plays a laundry worker whose fantasies and actions always get her into trouble. Written by Waldemar Young (grandson of Brigham Young), much of the story centers around Pickford's affection for Albert Austin (Horace) and the Laundry's horse. The title card has a jagged tear on the left side that goes inward, and then upward into the credits. There are some creases and abrasions on the border where the tear begins. The rest of the cards are in fantastic condition with a few cards having light corner folds. The cards rate from VG to Near Mint, with the overall rating of Very Fine.
