<B>Sub-Mariner Comics #14 (Timely, 1944) CGC VF- 7.5 Cream to off-white pages.</B></I> Since D-Day occurred about the same time as this issue was released (it's cover-dated Fall 1944, but comics were always dated a couple of months in advance), we assume this was Alex Schomburg's fantasy image of an amphibious attack by the Allies. Whatever the case, it's like all of the best Schomburg covers in that you can scrutinize it for quite a while and keep noticing new things. Highly collectible stuff! Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $1,138.
