Strikingly Spectacular Large Authentic handmade Persian Bidgol-Kashan Rug. 100% Natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, softest baby lambs wool pile on cotton foundation. This is a rare Bidgol-Kashan. Bidgol is a satellite town in the proximity of the city of Kashan. Bidgol Rug production has always been few and far in between. The few that are woven, however are of exceptional quality and artistic workmanship. This is the most darling Bidgol-Kashan, starting with an endearing central medallion and tear drops over a rich and glowing navy blue color background. It is noteworthy, that navy blue Kashans are a rarity and hard to come across in the marketplace. This Rug is masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, using superior quality baby lambs wool, with about 100 knots per square inch and highly dense weave. It would take over three years to create this lovely piece. Please notice how the color scheme in this Kashan is so artistically well balanced. This is the crown jewel of Kashan collection. Please notice that also attesting to the fine weave is the fact that the back of this Rug looks as good as the front. The leather band sewn on the edge at the back of this Rug is to keep the edges from curling under due to the extreme tightness of the weave. Creases in this Rug are due to fold and not a defect.
