Great-looking hand painted cider pitcher decorated with poppies by the J. H. Stouffer Company. Embellished gold trim and mother-of-pearl lustreware background. Measures 7 5/8" tall, and 8" from the back-of-the-handle to the tip-of-the-spout. Condition is very good-to-excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Some very minor wear to the gold trim on the handle, as seen in the close up photo. Signed by the artist, A Wall. Stamped with Stouffer Mark #4, found in use from 1906 to 1914. Also stamped with a Limoges manufacturer's mark identified as Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Abbot Mark #1, found in use from about 1900. Member, Pickard Collectors Club.
