<td width="100%">
Terrific-looking hand painted plate nicely decorated with poppies, by the J. H. Stouffer Company. Measures 9 3/8" in diameter, across the gently-scalloped rim. Condition is very good-to-excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and just the slightest bit of wear to the hand painted finish and gold trim. Initialed by the artist, as shown. These unidentified initials are referenced in the Reed book on Pickard and the other Chicago studios, as being either C.B. or G.B. Stamped with Stouffer Mark #4, found in use from 1906 to 1914. Porcelain blank is also stamped with a Limoges manufacturer's mark identified as Martial Redon, very similar to documented marks found in use in the late 1800s. Member, Pickard Collectors Club.
