Beautiful hand painted charger decorated with pink poppies by the J. H. Stouffer Company. Measures 13" in diameter. Condition is very good-to-excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Slight wear to the gold trim around the outer edge and in the center medallion. Signed by the artist, A. Piron. Stamped with Stouffer Mark #4. According to the Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China, by Alan B. Reed, the Stouffer mark dates the charger to the period 1906 to 1914. Also stamped with a Limoges manufacturer mark, identified as A. Klingenberg Mark #7, found in use from about the 1890s to 1910. Member, Pickard Collectors Club.
