Lot of 11. 1) Potosi Mining Company, "Virginia Mining District," "Storey County, Nevada" printed on either side of company name. Certificate No. 10476 for 50 shares issued to W.H. King, Trustee. Datelined San Francisco, Nov. 23, 1883. Signed by (illegible) as President and H.E. Elliot as Secretary. No vignette, ornate company name and border in black ink. "Incorporated March 31, 1879" at center bottom of certificate. Printer: A.T. Leary, S.F. Uncancelled. Assessment stamp on reverse dated 1886, marked over in red ink. "Sold for Asst. #21, a/c Geo. M. (illegible) hand-written in red ink at center top. 2) Hale and Norcross Mining Company, Incorporated in California, Dec. 27, 1898. Cert. No. 6258, for 100 shares to R.U. Collins, Trustee (hand-written endorsement on reverse). Datelined July 25, 1907. Signed by (illegible) as President and Secretary, holes punched through both signatures. Vignette of miner swinging pick in upper left, with company name in very ornate script. Yellow paper with black border and print. Printer: Cal. Litho. Co. S.F. Signed by W.E. Elliot as Secretary and C. Hirshfield as President. Vignette of a ram at center top, with black border and print. Both uncancelled. Assessment stamps No. 43 (June 11, 1897), No. 44 (Oct. 4, 1897), and 45 (Feb. 7, 1898) appear on the reverse of both certificates. No foldlines, very fine condition. 4) Mexican Gold and Silver Mining Company (2), incorporated Dec. 8th, 1874. "Location of Mine," Storey Co., Nevada," printed on either side of company name. Certificate No. 78595, issued to Stauf & Casper, Trustees, for 9 shares, datelined San Francisco, Jan. 31, 1898. No. 13958 (Series B), issued for 100 shares to S. Goldzieher, Trustee, datelined S.F., Nov. 25, 1911. No. 78595 signed by Charles John as President and Elliot as Secretary, uncancelled, with assessment stamp #59-69 on reverse. Printer: Armstrong & DeGuerre-Lith-S.F. A 1" tear at center top and water stain on "CAN" in company name. No. 13958 signed by B.F. Shaws as President and (illegible) as Secretary. No. 85696 issued for 10 shares to Latham & Koing, Trustees, datelined San Francisco, Dec 17, 1878. Signed by Geo. Wallace as President and C.P. Gordon as Secretary. Two assessment stamps and five dividend stamps on reverse. 6) Bullion Mining Company, incorporated in California, January 19, 1874. Signed by H.B. Harem as President and A.W. Harem as Secretary. No vignette, ornate company name in black ink on white paper. Uncancelled.
