Ramp blade front sight and two leaf rear sight (folding, fixed) on a retailer marked barrel: "WILLIAM EVANS. 63 PALL MALL LONDON S.W." A slot for a set trigger is present. The left side of the barrel has various crown/letter proofs and marked "CORDITE 35* -250 MAX" (upside down). The serial number is on the right side of the barrel with the number "13470" on top of the barrel at the breech and on the trigger guard and the number "30321" is stamped on the underside of the buttstock. Standard receiver markings with a crown/V proof on the receiver ring and bolt. The rear trigger of the double set trigger assembly has been removed. Functions fine with front trigger only. Full length pistol grip stock with checkering on the forearm and grip area, grip cap, sling swivels, raised cheekpiece and a serrated buttplate with trapdoor. Complete with a partitioned William Evans canvas bound case, Evans rangoon oil, Evans special cleaning fluid, funnel, screwdriver, two brushes, and clenveet ribbon tin. The inside of the lid has a William Evans label and a barrel cleaning instruction label, with the initials "A.J.H." on the outside of the lid.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown and some minor edge wear. The stock is fine with some minor dings and scratches, along with a series of minor pressure dings on the buttstock (right side). Overall the checkering is crisp. The case is very good with minor wear on the canvas and green felt lining. The accessories are fine.
