An exquisite and personal collection from the Stevenson Family Estate, mainly James Stevenson, who was a resident of Secret Diggings, 1/2 mile west of La Porte. The Stevenson Family owned and operated cattle grazing and had significant land holdings in Butte and Plumas Counties. Includes: x1 Journal book, dating from 1932 to 1947. Shows recorded accounting of purchases in the front, with personal accounts for different individuals in the back. Binding is loose but pages are intact; x1 Certificate of Registration, Cattle Protection Board, State of California, framed, for the Stevenson Bros. Route B, Oroville, Butte County, Cal. dated April 15, 1918; x24 family photographs (men, women, children, families); Valentine post card addressed to James H.
