Stevens tip-up .25 caliber rimfire single shot rifle, 26" medium to slightly heavy weight barrel, made with forend, showing veneer-type tang sight, serial #5325. The barrel measures approx. 7/8" across the flat of the muzzle, and the gun remains in original good condition with blue brown patina finish on barrel, frame drifted to brown. Some light patina, scattered erosion, good markings, beginning pinprick pitting. "26" is engraved on the left side of the frame, probably ID from ashooting club or gallery. The wood is lightly refinished, otherwise good. The bore is slightly rough, the action tight. Generally good overall with a period sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation. Est: $250 - $500
