Stevens model 54, engraved and deluxe stocked schutzen rifle showing double set triggers, checkered select figured walnut stock, folding palm rest, nickel plated schutzen butt, veneer type tang sight, hooded front sight, with scope blocks on barrel for target scope. The front of the frame is marked “49”, the barrel is marked .22 long rifle, but has been opened up to .25 caliber, possibly .25-25 Stevens (unknown). The barrel shows 95-98% original blue finish thinning at the edges and slightly toning. The bottom of the barrel in front of the forend is numbered 256. The frame is numbered 10471. The frame shows light scroll engraving in a factory pattern with approx. 75-85% thinning case hardening. The stocks are very good plus with a few minor dings, mars, scratches. The bore is very good but shallow rifled and shows a pronounced twist. A nice American schutzen that needs some research to caliber, etc, before firing. Est: $3,500 - $5,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
