Manufactured from 1903 to 1916. Heavy #2 part octagon barrel with front globe sight, a level mounted approximately 7 inches forward of the breech and the rear sight removed. There is a short range tang mounted peep sight. Double set triggers and smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Condition: Very good. The non-factory tapped barrel retains 60% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The receiver retains 75% of the original vivid case colors with a smooth silver gray on the balance, and a smooth mottled gray on the lever. The buttplate has a smooth brown patina. The wood is very good retaining most of the original varnish and showing some scattered minor dings and scratches. The markings are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
