Up for bidding in this lot is a J Stephens Arms Company No. 26 1/2 "Crack Shot" .22 Short caliber rifle. Stamping on the rifle barrel shows "J. Stevens Arms Company - Chicopee Falls Mass U.S.A. - 22 Short – Pat’d April 27. 1920.". This rifle utilizes a 20” round blue’d barrel with bead front sight. The straight grain walnut stock and fore grip are in good condition showing signs of use. The receiver is marked on the left Crack-Shot 26 ½. The Model 26 1/2 Crack Shot was manufactured between 1913 and 1941. The falling block and trigger do not operate as intended. No serial number. This is a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires NICS background check, or FFL transfer.
