Featured in this lot we have a Stevens Model 520 pump action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The shotgun was manufactured between 1916 to 1939. The model 520 and the later more streamlined model 620saw military service in World War II, Korean War, and the Vietnam War. This shotgun features a 31 1/2" long round barrel, under barrel tube magazine, walnut stock and front grip, warm finish, and pump action. The left side of the frame is marked "J. Stevens Arms Company Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A. Pat's Feb. 7. 1905. Aug. 27. 1907" with the pump arms marked "Trade Mark Stevens Reg. U.S. Pat Off & FGN. 520". The shotgun displays matching serial numbers on the grip tang, tube magazine, and action. It shows good mechanical condition with working safety, slide lock, and crisp trigger. The model 520 features slam fire capabilities allowing the trigger to be held down and fired just by working the pump action. Due to this it comes with a recoil block that unlocks the action after a live fire, but needing to have the slide lock button to use the action after dry firing. The shotgun shows good condition overall with wear and patina due to age and handling. Serial Number: 65925.
