The auction of 150 original, hand-blown glass art is sponsored by the Santa Cruz, California-based International Paperweight Society Foundation and TheGlassGallery.com (L. H. Selman Ltd.). Proceeds from the auction will go to benefit Santa Cruz glass artist Steven Lundberg, who, after 30 years of blowing glass locally, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). A wide range of art objects have poured in from dozens of glass artists, galleries, and collectors. Paperweights, vessels, and glass sculptures from internationally known glass artists, range in value from $50 to $3,000. This is a NO RESERVE auction.
