Steve McQueen Screen Worn Long-Sleeve Tunic FromThe Sand Pebbles(1966).A dark blue navy top worn by Steve McQueen as Jake Holman in the 1966 film, The Sand Pebbles. Directed by Robert Wise, known for West Side Storyand The Sound of Music, the war film was a box office hit and garnered multiple Academy Award nominations. This dark blue long-sleeve has a V-neck, a patch on the left sleeve. Made by Western Costume Co. in Hollywood, with its interior label (featuring "Steve McQueen" typed on it). Measures 16" from armpit to armpit, 24 ½" from the back collar to the bottom, and 19 ½" sleeve. In Very Good Plus with minor wear and handling. Comes with COA from Profiles in History (who sold this in 2018). COA from Heritage Auctions.
