Steve Garvey's game-used circa 1976 Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger G154 personal model baseball bat, featuring the bicentennial brand (Liberty Bell with baseball bat and "1776–1976, National Pastime") and his facsimile signature on the barrel; also signed below in black felt tip, "My best wishes, Steve Garvey," with a removed inscription above. The flame-burned ash bat measures 35˝ long, weighs 33.7 ounces, and has his number ("6") written on the knob in black felt tip. It is uncracked and exhibits excellent evidence of use with a moderate pine tar coating, several ball marks and stitch impressions, and some black ink transfer. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. Well-established in the middle of the Los Angeles Dodgers' lineup by 1976, Garvey hit .317 with 13 homers and 80 RBI, making the NL All-Star team and playing Gold Glove defense.
