Bissette and Totleben had in fact been on the book for three full issues before Moore was assigned the writing chores. This exceptional page, showing Messrs. Bissette and Totleben just getting into the groove of their unique collaboration, comes from the last issue before Moore took over, and features a discussion of the "neutralization" of all parties associated with Alec Holland. A very nice head shot of Swamp Thing in the first panel demonstrates the power of Totleben's chiaroscuro inking. This page is in very nice condition, with light editorial corrections throughout and light white-out. There are some story notes in the margins, and the page has been signed in silver ink by Bissette, Totleben, and Alan Moore (even though he didn't write this issue). A great piece for the <B>Swampy</B></I> collector. 10.5" x 16". <B>Estimate: $250-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
