<td width="100%">
A faceted sided bottle, probably originally from a ladies or gents dressing case. It has a sterling silver top with gilded inside, which is engraved with very Art Deco shaped initials J.D.
Hallmarks are for London 1935, and shows the heads of the newly crowned George VI and Elizabeth. These were only shown in this one year, the year of the coronation.
Bottle measures 10cm high (10 inches), and 4.6cm diameter top (1.13/16 inches).
Glass of bottle is in excellent condition, no chips. The top has no dents, and is also excellent, but it looks a little dull - possibly has had some sealer put over the silver, which has scuffed. Would certainly polish up well on a jeweller?s wheel.
