Early 1900's Stereogram 3D Photo Viewer - Old stereoviewer made of veneered wood with a hinged handle. It measures about 12" long and 7" High with the handle holder down. Appears to be all original and shows general wear from age and use. The only readily apparent flaw is the soft velar should ride around the rim of viewer. This could be gently glued back. Comes with a 2 viewer cards or Orthostereography. (This uses images presented side-by-side). This kind of stereography goes back a long time, and was quite popular around the turn of the 19th century. This two cards show a sassy maid. One card reads: Why, you little beauty: How long have you been our cook? The other card reads: Mr. and Mrs. Newlywed's new "French Maid"!These captions also appear in 5 different languages.
