Octavo. 447 pages. <BR><BR>Black buckram spine over tan paper boards with gilt spine lettering. Very minor rubbing to spine head and tail; sharp corner tips. Dust jacket is nearly perfect, with just a few faint creases at spine. A near fine copy.<BR><BR>Doubleday was known for generally poor book construction and use of inferior materials at this time, but this copy has been well cared for and has held up beautifully.
