Stembridge Armory movie prop gun consisting of a U.S. Springfield trapdoor rifle that has been Stembridge gunsmith converted to resemble a flintlock trade musket for the Middle East and likely was used in epic movies of the 1930’s-1940’s with a Middle Eastern theme. The gun is in overall well-used condition showing a blocked action, extended barrel to 47”, full stock with painted pink and green designs , cut down butt stock, nine barrel bands alternating between brass and tin construction; action is functioning, wood stock shows considerable mars, scratches and scattered losses and cracks due to extensive hard movie use. A great collectible for the film buff or gun collector. Est.: $600-$1,200.
