Austrian novelist and playwright (1881–1942). TLS, one page, 8 x 10, November 14, 1934. Letter to Cyril Lakin, in full: "You may be quite sure that I shall be in time to-morrow for my little speech. Let me thank you now for 'chaperoning' me at the lunch on Monday; there was such a crowd that I was not able to thank you then." At the bottom, Zweig writes in purple ink, "Kindest regards to Mrs. Lakin!" In fine condition, with foxing to edges.
