Contains short biographies of noted authors, with a General Index in Volume XI. <BR><BR>Beautifully bound in three-quarter red morocco over marbled boards, gilt decoration and gilt lettering on spines. Marbled endpapers. Top edges gilt. Light to moderate rubbing at board edges and corners; a few bumped corners. Spines are in fine condition, with minimal wear to head and tail. Textblocks are near perfect - bright, tight, and fully intact.
