Very desirable matted display celebrating the 1928 short film Steamboat Willie, the first Disney cartoon with synchronized sound, which includes: a vintage ballpoint signature, “Walt Disney,” on an off-white 3.5 x 1.75 sheet; and an original production drawing from the cartoon, which depicts Mickey Mouse from the waist up with raised drum mallets, accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on 7.25 x 6 animation paper; both are double-matted with a glossy photo of Disney and a clipped image of the final scene to an overall size of 21 x 17.

Also included is a special edition ‘one-of-one’ hand-painted cel of Mickey Mouse from Steamboat Willie, produced under license with Disney and published by Acme Archives Limited in 2008. The Mickey cel image measures 5.5 x 6.25, and is placed on a matching lithographic background of the bull with open mouth, with a mat opening of 11.75 x 9.75; matted to an overall size of 19.75 x 17.75. The lower left corner bears the golden Walt Disney Animation Studios seal, and the cel is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Walt Disney Company. In overall fine condition, with silvering to the Disney photo.
