Accounting manuscript for duties performed by the longtime Connecticut secretary George Wyllys, signed at the conclusion by Oliver Ellsworth and Benjamin Payne. Some of the line items listed include: “Entering on Record at large the Declaration of the united States by Order of Assembly,” “Commissions for 3 field Officers of a Battalion now ordered to be raised,” “Copy Act directing the raising and pay &c of the 2 Battalions of Militia to join the Northern army,” “Copy Act permitting Distillation of Gin for the News Paper,” “Copy act granting allowance to light horsemen that march’d to Albany,” “2 Copies of the act providing for Persons wounded in the Enemies late incursion to Danbury,” and “2 Copies Bill appointing a person in each Brigade to procure camp utensils for the Militia.” In fine condition.
