If you wish to obtain additional information on a particular lot, ScreenUsed may provide, upon request, a more detailed description than what appears in the catalog. We remind the prospective buyers that these are rare collector pieces, and all sales are final.
(TriStar Pictures, 1997) This hero, live firing Morita rifle, documented as having been used by "Private Ace Levy", played by Jake Busey, contains the still functioning Ruger Mini 14 rifle and an Ithaca 37 pump action shotgun. The rifle remains in its original, firing and completely working condition and still has some of the green bug guts on the front outer portion of the fiberglass shell. This particular rifle's serial number is tied directly to having been used by Jake Busey extensively throughout the production and is an awesome example of some of the finest film production weapons ever made. Accompanied by its original sling, the rarely seen working external safety mechanism and its original Morita magazine this makes for one amazing display piece. Additionally, having been identified by Jake Busey himself as well as the film's armorer, it's one of the last remaining examples of what makes Starship Troopers such an amazing success. Additional parts and hardware accompany the rifle which includes a serialized plaque and transport case. The rifle measures 41" x 12" x 3". Along with our ScreenUsed COA, this item comes with a letter stating this gun was used by Jake Busey in the film, signed by the weapons coordinator.
