Starr single-action .44 percussion Civil War issue revolver. Blue finish, cartouche wood grips, serial #39467. The revolver retains 10-30% original blue drifting to a grey brown patina with some scattered light to moderate rust and erosion and some light to moderate pitting. The markings are good, the edges fairly sharp, the hammer and loading lever show considerable case hardening. The bottom left grip shows cartouche, the right bottom grip shows outline of a cartouche. There are a couple of chips at the edges and there is a light coating of clear varnish on the grips. The action is good, bore very good. A nice Civil War Starr. From the Bernard Braverman Estate. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
