Starr Model 1858 DA percussion revolver, .44 cal., 6” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #17948. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 35% original finish confined primarily to the frame and cylinder;strong traces of case color on rear portion of loading lever and light case colors on the hammer; very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings including inspector initials stamped on frame, barrel and trigger guard; very good grips with atotal of three inspector’s cartouches (usually there are only two).
