Original Egyptian style Horus guard collar (made of foam rubber Velcro'd together) from the science fiction adventure film 'Stargate' (1994) which centers on the premise of a "Stargate", an ancient ring-shaped device that creates a wormhole, enabling travel to a similar device elsewhere in the universe. Written by Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich.
Directed by Emmerich, the film stars Kurt Russell, James Spader, Jaye Davidson, Alexis Cruz, Mili Avital, and Viveca Lindfors , where an interstellar teleportation device, found in Egypt, leads to a planet with humans resembling ancient Egyptians who worship the god Ra.
