A production-made hero light-up Rey lightsaber hilt with acrylic blade. This lightsaber prop was created for the final installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy of films for use by Daisy Ridley’s Rey but was an unused design not seen in the final cut of the film. This lightsaber design represents a different take on the “reforged” version of the classic Skywalker “Graflex” hilt design that was torn apart in a climatic battle of wills and force abilities between Rey and Kylo Ren in Star Wars - Episode 8: The Last Jedi and re-introduced in the following film newly rebuilt. This metal lightsaber hilt features studio weathering and rusting along with cloth wrap detailing around the center where the lightsaber would have been repaired in-universe following its seeming destruction in the previous film. The lightsaber hilt houses battery powered internal led lighting that illuminates the attached blade when manually turned on. Electronics have been previously tested as working but item is being sold as-is. This lot includes original production asset hard case. A fascinating look into the constantly changing production process that brought J.J. Abrams’s Star Wars - Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker to the screen.

Once the winning bidder has paid the initial invoice through iCollector for the total hammer price plus 10% Buyers Premium, Hero Prop will then pack their item (or items if multiple lots have been won) and issue a separate shipping invoice to be paid by the winner. Once both the invoice from iCollector and the shipping invoice from Hero Prop have been paid, the items will be mailed out.
