Star Trek Next Generation Klingon Forehead Prosthetics
From "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987-1994), two Klingon forehead prosthetics (with the iconic "spine" pattern). These special appliances was designed, sculpted and molded under the supervision of Michael Westmore in the Paramount Studio's Lab and then given to Special Effects Make Up Artist Andrea Le Vine who applied them to the actors. Per Mr. Westmore, he specifically designed Klingon's with many variations on the size, depth and pattern of their foreheads, which can be seen in these two examples. They come from Andrea Le Vine's personal collection, and includes a Letter of Provenience from Ms. Le Vine. The Klingon prosthetics come in labeled Bodytech Emporium "Body Parts" (Ms. Le Vine's Special Effects Company) Ziploc bags. (The first forehead is approx 9"x8" and the second approx 7"x6").
