Star Trek Deep Space Nine Quark (Armin Shimerman) Unused Prosthetics
From "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1993-1999), a rare set of the Ferengi Quark (Armin Shimerman) appliances. The first is a nose and cheek prosthetic, and the second is a nose prosthetic. Both were designed, sculpted and molded under the supervision of Michael Westmore in the Paramount Studio's Lab and then given to Special Effects Make Up Artist Andrea Le Vine who would applied the special prosthetics onto the actor's. Many sets of these were created, since they are very thin and delicate. Most were used, and few of the orignal sets (before makeup was applied) still exist. These are a set of unused foam latex Quark prosthetics. They come from Andrea Le Vine's personal collection, and include a Letter of Provenience from Ms. Le Vine. The Quark appliances come in labeled Bodytech Emporium "Body Parts" (Ms. Le Vine's Special Effects Company) Ziploc bags. (The Quark nose and cheek prosthetic is approx 9x5", and the Quark nose is approx 4"x1").
