<td width="100%">
This is a very nice clean block plane with the 1 5/8" wide cutter x 6" long. It is marked "STANLEY RULE & LEVEL" on the cutter, "PAT. 8.3.97 STANLEY" on the side of the lateral level with a few other earlier patents, and "FEB.10.94" patent marked on the adjustable throat lever. This one appears to be a good+ type 10 from the late 1800's era. A nice looking plane with over 85% of it's original Japanning intact overall, with most of the wear on the cap cover, very clean bare metal surfaces, and a good working adjustable throat. The cutter is sharp, and in good useable condition, with some pitting on the upper side that makes the rounded Stanley loge mark hard to read, but doesn't cause and use problems. The cutter is set at 20 degrees on this plane, and it's sharp, ready to use with plenty of stock left for future sharpening. A real nice plane overall!
