<td width="100%">
This is a good old Jack plane, made by Stanley around 1925. It is marked with the 1910 patent date behind the frog, "NO. 5" behind the handle, and the blade has the rectangular "STANLEY MADE IN USA" logo and mark. Also marked "STANLEY" on the cap cover, and "BAILEY" in front of the knob. This one is clean and has about 40% of it's Japanning intact. The back handle has the top part broken off, (mostly on one side) but there is plenty their that is solid, to hold on to. The front knob is also rosewood and has a B marked on it, otherwise nice looking and very solid. The 2.0" wide cutter is sharp (some minor pitting noted, but clean around the cutting edge) and all the adjustments works fine. The bottom is corrugated for ease of use, flat, clean and ready to use. The plane is 14" long x 2" wide cutter. A nice, clean, old user plane.
