<B>Stanley Kramer's American Foundation for the Performing Arts Lifetime Achievement Award.</B></I> This ornate plaque was awarded to Stanley Kramer by the Foundation March 25, 1991, and personally presented to the director by former President Gerald Ford. The piece was created by world-renowned Russian artist Mihail Chemiakin,whose work has been exhibited at the Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg; Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro; Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art; Pushkin Museum of Art, Moscow; and Trianon Palace at Versailles. The large brass award measures 12" x 12.5" x 1" with a wood backing, and is in Very Fine condition with a few small areas of mild wear and tarnishing.
