Poignant letter signed by Stan Laurel, dated 16 January 1965, approximately 5 weeks before his death. In early January, Laurel began x-ray treatments for an infection on the roof of his mouth, and died of a heart attack in February. Single page letter measures 5.5'' x 8.5'' on Oceana Apartment Hotel stationery, where he lived in retirement. Folds and toning, overall very good condition.
