Four nice pieces from different stage companies dating back to 1866. 1) Canyon City Stage Co. Waybill, from Oregon, 1889, between Baker City and Malheur. Opens to 20" x 14". Inside titled, "Malheur Stage Company, J.P. Faull, Proprietor. Below are three entries under Stage Receipt for three packages. 2) Virginia City and Red Bluff Stage Company Waybill, from Montana, dated 1892. Approximately 25 entries for express packages with point of pickup, destination and charges collected. Opens to 17" x 11". 3) Oregon Stage Company goods receipt datelined Cottonwood, 1866, showing payment in full to the stage company for $51 for three tons of hay. Payment in full. Two cent revenue stamp at top left. Back of check had been attached in an album, so some paper residue from where glued. 4) Fort Apache Stage Line Waybill, 1905, from Arizona. Way Bill from Holbrook to Fort Apache. Vignette of black horse drawn coach at the left. Measures 16" x 7". Two entries on the waybill. A nice group of documents in good condition.
