Staffordshire mulberry transfer 9 1/4" plate in "Clyde Scenery" pattern by Job and John Jackson, 1831-35. This pattern shows different views of life along the Clyde river in the early nineteenth century. Lots of detail. The central scene shows swans floating on the Clyde. Behind them there is a bridge and a castle. In the foreground are two women and a dog. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, crazing or surface scratches.
