Charming Staffordshire figural pottery inkwell, dating to the mid-19th century, modeled in the form of a swan family before a stylized tree. The scene features two adult swans flanking a cygnet, resting amidst applied green foliage at the base, with a large leaf forming the back and likely acting as the inkwell reservoir. Decorated in enamel glazes with red accents to the beaks and combed details to the leaf and landscape. The piece displays the typical creamy glaze and faint blue tint associated with Staffordshire pearlware. In fair antique condition, with expected age-related crazing throughout. Underside unmarked. Measures approximately 5 inches in height.

Issued: Mid-19th Century
Dimensions: 5"H
Country of Origin: England

Condition: Age related wear.
