A 19th century Staffordshire copper lustre teapot - this matches the jug we also have for sale here (Item No. 0377). The teapot has simple decoration in blue, white and yellow enamels of stylised flowers. It has a flower shaped finial to the lid, ornate body detailing to the handle and spout, and sits on four little feet. This is a good teapot for use or display - it has one small chip to the edge of the lid. However, it appears to have had some restoration to the lid and top of spout. (You can see a somewhat duller finish in the lustre here in the photos of those areas.) Teapot measures 10.1/4 inches wide, 7 inches high and 5.1/4 deep. (26cm x 18cm x 13cm). A pretty piece.
