(London: by the Proprietor, 1824), first edition, 92 pages, illustrated with an engraved hand-colored frontispiece and 11 hand-colored engraved plates, each with an overlay flap showing a symbolic piece of armor, full mottled calf binding with gilt rules on front and rear boards, six gilt decorated compartments between five raised spine bands, morocco spine labels with gilt titles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, 12mo (4.25” x 7”), former owner’s book plate on the front pastedown, light shelf wear, else a beautiful copy.
