<B>St. John, NB- The Bank of British North America</B></I> $1 Dec. 1, 1859 Ch. # 55-12-22-02<BR> Unlike most other Canadian chartered banks, this institution was established in England to do business in the various Canadian provinces. Accordingly, branches were chartered in almost all provinces. For convenience sake, we are listing all of the notes from this bank, wherever issued, under the Montreal location, which served as the headquarters of this institution in its latter day operations until it was sold in 1918. This rare early note was issued from the bank's branch in St. John, New Brunswick, and is one of four examples from four different branches in the Flynn collection holdings. <B>Very Good-Fine.</B></I> <BR><I>From The Thomas M.
