<B>St. Charles, MO- Southern Bank of St. Louis</B></I> $5 Dec. 11, 1859 C26b<BR>This is a rare counterfeit on this bank and only the second that we have handled. In fact every denomination for every branch of this bank is listed by Haxby as SENC, "Surviving Example Not Confirmed." This counterfeit is the only note that turns up on this bank and it itself is seldom encountered.
