This spoon is an absolutely fabulous piece of Brite Cut work. There is a squirrel sitting on an oak branch eating an acorn. (See the details: His fur, Tail and whiskers).The bowl is vermeil with the squirrel cut into it. It is a souvenir spoon of Washington Park, Quincy, Illinois. This was the first park in Quincy, and measures 5 acres. The spoon is by Gorham c 1911 fully marked, see all photos. Length 5 3/4 inches. Light mono of MLJ in the wreath. Excellent condition.
