Springfield model 1903 .30-06 caliber bolt-action U.S. military rifle, serial #983242. Barrel dated 1-44 with USMC marking and Sedgley manufacturer’s mark. Shows Marine Corps sight cover and WWII rebuild with“RA-P” cartouche in left side of stock above trigger indicating Raritan Arsenal. Sling dated 1943 by S.M. Manufacturer. WWII plastic cleaning kid/oiler in buttstock. The rifle remains in fine to near excellent conditionas arsenal rebuilt for WWII. 98% plus grayish original parkerization. Stock is near excellent with just a few scratches and minor marks. The interior shows minor use with bright bore. A good example of a Marine Corps marked '03. Est: $500 - $1,000
